The climate is warm and humid in the coastal
regions but regulated by sea breezes.
Temperatures range from 24 - 28 degrees C.
The hottest period is from October to
mid-March and the coldest from June to
September. The rainy season is from
mid-March to the end of June. |

We accept volunteers of all nationalities
from all parts of the world. |

What age do I have to be?
We welcome any age but volunteers under 18
years old must be accompanied by an adult. |

No: volunteers may work in Tanzania at all
times of the year. |

Our programme is located in the northern
part of Tanzania. |

How do I get to the project?
Volunteers are taken to the project location
by our staff. |

Yes: we can cater for special dietary
requirements such as vegetarian or

Who organises my visas for my volunteer
placement?
You will organise your visa through your
travel agent or independently. For citizens
of most countries you can either do this
when you arrive or before you get to
Tanzania. |

Are there more expenses once I arrive?
The programme fee covers accommodation,
meals and transport during the programme.
You will need to have some extra funds for
food on days off, personal shopping and
leisure time expenses. |
