Help Feed African Orphans
As we go out into the surrounding area distributing food to the orphanages here in Arusha, we met so many children in the orphanage centres who are orphaned, hopeless, and desperate. Imagine it! Some were as young as five or six weeks with no mother, no father, no home, and no food, and have no future at all. It is truly painful here.
We can no longer keep quiet, we are their voices to speak out their problems, Amani Afrika Team, through Safari and Trekking business, we decided to set this project for providing food and other social needs to all orphanages around Arusha and beyond, starting with Nkoaranga Orphanage.
Rescue orphans from malaria
On 11th October 2009, a group of four clients from the UK, who had already done their Kilimanjaro climb as well as the three-day safari with other clients from Australia, got the chance to visit Nkoaranga orphanage. Many thanks to Kathleen Sanu, Richard Fetherston, Joe Jefferson, and Michael Brown, who came on the visit. They really felt the pain that Africans feel! At the orphanage, we found nine very young children suffering from malaria. Some of the children were as young as five or six months, and it was truly painful to see. This team from the UK provided the orphanage with three mosquito nets that they had used on their trip to Africa. We really appreciate their kindness.
We at Amani Afrika Trekking and Safaris would like to commend and thank those who have been supporting our project. God wants us to care for His children. You can participate in these programs and have a part in helping to save even more African children's lives.
Join together with us and donate now so that Sichildren can support their intentions because there is no one that feels the pain of Africa than Africans themselves!
